Friendly warm family welcome!

This was an impulsive booking as a lone female traveller so was apprehensive about being on my own.

I needn't have worried, Helen the landlady and her family provided the warm friendly open welcome I needed. Helen was exceptionally helpful, knowledgable about the area and absolutely committed to ensuring my stay was comfortable, safe and thoroughly enjoyable. Took time to get to know me and my needs and went out of her way to meet them. The room was small bit more than adequate for my needs... More importantly it was exceptionally clean, warm and provided all facilities I required including tea/ coffee facilities/ free wifi/ hairdryer/ sky TV. The family run guesthouse is perfect for me as a lone traveller and not only would I stay again... Helen has made sure I feel welcome for future stays. I am already considering "popping" down for a couple of days next week.
