Affordable but brace yourself for the consequences

We were kindly greeted but it went downhill.

Carpet was peeling away, found hairs in our beds, toliet wouldn't flush and the shower curtain was held together by tape. During breakfast the host made a rude remark about using too much cutlery. Some of the food clearly wasn't fresh but it still tasted ok. A bonus was the location, easy to access and find with routes back into Birmingham
