Made to feel very welcome.
Bev was very welcoming and friendly.
Accommodation was quirky and cottage like with low ceilings & sloping floors, as would be expected for this age & type of property. Stayed as was close to well known spa hotel that we had Xmas party at but was fraction of cost just to lay head down for the night. Only couple of negative was that I was unable to plug my straighteners into the plug socket as it was so close to skirting board and water from shower was like a drizzle. Breakfast in morning was served at set time of 9am so not great if had a late night & wanted a lie in.
Thank you for your reivew, we are pleased you had a lovely stay with us and had a great time at Hoar Cross, I only wish you had told us there was a problem with the shower whilst you were here as we could have moved you into the large en-suite room instead, we weren't aware there was a problem whilst you were here, but over the Christmas period we have replaced the electric shower with a brand new one, which is lovely and powerful. We often do breakfast at 8am in the week as people are generally heading to work, and
9am at weekends as guests usually prefer a lie-in and a peaceful breakfast before the Coffee Shop opens at 10am, but we are flexible and cook hot breakfasts to order individually as we usually only have 2-4 guests at any one time, but other times can be arranged when we send the welcome/booking confirmation email, which goes to all guests before their arrival - where we also ask if there are any dietry requirements for breakfast. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again next time you are at Hoar Cross.
We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay more.
If we are in the area we will definitely return.
