In need of some refreshment

Friendly staff and good breakfast.

The paintwork could do with a freshen up its looking a little bit tired in places. The front rooms are very noisy with traffic and kicking out time at the pub across the road. We wasn't too impressed on our check out day when we went back from breakfast about 8.30 and the cleaning staff were already in the room stripping the bedding. we hadn't packed our luggage but felt like we were been rushed out of the room before the 10am checkout time. Overall very much what we expected for the amount we paid.

Friendly and good value

Manager and staff were friendly and helpful.

The room faced the front but traffic noise wasn't a problem. The room was large and although the shower/toilet was very small, it was adequate - and the shower itself worked really well. Breakfast was nice. Also good location for station and town.
