The fully air-conditioned luxurious guest rooms and deluxe suites engender a feeling of a fine country hotel located on a quiet side street. The beautifully appointed conservatories and wood deck are ideal for summer barbeques and al fresco dining as well as regular live jazz entertainment overlooking a secluded private garden square. For the summer months The Montague on the Gardens offers Al Fresco Dining. What a lovely hotel experience :-)
Arrived early afternoon and couldn't find car park so dashed inside hotel and asked concierge who emptied car of our luggage then parked it for us, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff so polite and accomadating. Have stayed in lots of hotels in london and this little boutique hotel is the best so far, have recommended it to all of my friends :-)

Red Carnation Hotels
As a regular user of the Rubens hotel I was equally impressed with the family feel of this sister hotel, which had equal standards, and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and very comfortable,at a more modest cost than the Rubens. The only downside is that its position in Montague street is in a very congested area,so that it takes 45 or more minutes by taxi to and from Paddington station, with appropriate cost (over £20 each way). However this may be solely by reference to the inordinate amount of roadworks in London at the moment.
