Perfect budget stay in a great central location.
Small room but comfy bed and good secondary double glazing to cut out lots of building noise from outside. Let down by the worst shower EVER. A mere dribble.
Brilliant hotel, and very peaceful.
Only problem was the shower: not very hot, the pressure was on the low side, and as the shower curtain didn't go all the way around the bottom of the stand in shower, it sort of flooded the floor. For a 10 minute inconvenience, I won't drop the rating for the hotel and room itself. The bed was extremely comfortable, with a luxurious duvet and perfect pillows. Slept very well.
Bolt hole for an overnight stay in central London
I was looking for a cheap and cheerful place to stay for one night when out with friends for a few drinks.
Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it was clean, bright and the welcome was friendly and efficient. I was on the second floor at the front of the hotel. The room was very small, but it suited my needs. The small bathroom was pretty modern, with a loo, shower and hand basin - nothing else was needed. Nice clean towels were provided. There was a small single bed (I am over 6 foot but the bed was fine), with tv, chair and kettle, and a small wardrobe. I paid £83 for room only and would definitely return again. Good value for money compared to other hotels in central london.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Only downside was the room was a bit hot.
Excellent accommodation for the price
I paid £88 for my single room at the Harlingford, and having staying a a few other hotels in and around Bloomsbury (all of which were more expensive), I can safely say that the Harlingford will be my first choice from now on.
My room was on the small size but clean and bright, and well equipped. When the nearby Holiday Inn is charging three times as much, this is a perfect stop for a one or two night trip. Recommended.
Excellent, would recommend for a value for money stay in central London.
So many smaller hotels in London are basic and not much to write home about bt the harlingford was a pleasant surprise.
Located only 10 mins walk from both Euston and kings x stations it is in a very convenient location and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Only gripe was that we both found the mattress to be too hard and our backs suffered a bit. However this was a personal thing and I'm not going to take it away that this is a great find in a major city
Good clean hotel
we had a room on the 1st floor facing the garden which had a water fountain that made a constant nice through out the whole night .The room was very tiny and a very tiny bathroom. In the morning we had breakfast but we weren't explain the room rules...such as sit and wait fir the service or help ourselves where ti find the cutlery etc.
Gem of a hotel
Simple and small room, but very clean and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. One of very few hotels I've stayed at in London that I'd happily return to.
