The smallest Hotel Room I have ever stayed in.

I have stayed in many Hotels in the UK and this was the smallest room and had the smallest double bed I have ever slept in.

It was very clean but looking tired in some areas particularly the external areas of the Hotel. We had lunch on the first day and the food was terrible. If you stay here do not stay in a standard room.

Lovely, would stay again

Easy to find, super location, when you walk through the door you know this is not a faceless corporate hotel.

Despite not being able to find my reservation details done through laterooms, I was upgraded without fuss for the inconvenience. The staff I encountered were all super friendly yet professional, nothing was too much trouble. The room I was given was in the main house so you could experience the historical features. The room was well equipped, absolutely spotless and had wonderful views over the garden out over London. Room service was prompt, the food was average yet presented and served nicely. I think the £5 tray charge is excessive, as a lone traveller I felt penalised for wanting to eat in my room. The bathroom was a little small in comparison to the overall room size, and the shower curtain seemed out of place in relation to the quality of all the other figments and furnishings. The technical toilet was an unexpected and interesting feature. Well done on providing good sized fluffy nice quality bath towels. The background music (trad. Jazz on a loop) is a bit irritating after a while yet the intent for ambience is good. Breakfast was spot on, I got exactly what I asked for, it was cooked well and enjoyable. Again staff attentive and professional. This hotel feels special when you arrive and when you leave. The lady checking me out was lovely and friendly and didn't treat me like a number. Well done The Manor, I would love to stay again.

Delightful room - highly recommend

Lovely charming hotel - authentic Tudor Manor house with real sense of history, but at the same time very stylish.

Free parking in the attractive grounds. Will come back again.

Excellent customer service

I arrived early expecting to have lunch and then work in the public areas until a room was ready, instead reception checked with Housekeeping and checked me into a room that was of the same type as my booking as the allocated room wasn't yet serviced.

Lunch was excellent and served professionally and pleasantly. Service at dinner was equally good with well trained yet friendly staff.
