Not a luxurious hotel but does the job!
4 of us stayed here for one night.
We had a family room, which cost us only £55, BARGAIN. For this price, we were expecting the hotel to be something out of a horror film. However, when we first arrived, the hotel appeared to be well presented from the outside. The check-in staff were very friendly and we didn't have any problems. Our room was a fair size for the four of us and the bathroom was adequate. Now, I'm not one to complain about picky things, but there were a few issues with the standard of room. Although we only paid £55 for the night, I would expect a standard level of cleanliness. The ceiling had wallpaper coming off from what looked like damp. The two single beds had multiple sheets on from what I can only presume is to make the bed more comfortable, and the sheets that were underneath weren't very clean. The table in the room had stains all over it (and I'm not talking coffee cup stains) and the duvet on the double bed wasn't the nicest. If this hotel had a small revamp, it'd make the experience a whole lot nicer.
I must add that the location was great. 5 minute walk to the town and train station, where London City is easily reached. There are also some nice restaurants local too.
The room we were given was a family room when we booked a 'deluxe' double room.
This room had very dirty facilities in the shower. There was cracked walls and damp everywhere. However the customer service was good.
Lower end of 'budget' acommodation
Staff were friendly and very helpful, I particularly liked the call during the day to confirm my arrival.
Hotel is budget, and definitely at the lower end, room smelt, furniture coming off walls and not very well cleaned. Room location wasn't great on the ground floor, opposite the kitchen and next to a fire door to the outside yard that had lots of traffic.
Could be modernised Needs more plug sockets.
Heater was broken room was freezing

Great value for money would definitely return.
We arrived on Sunday 28th September, room was 55 pounds for four sharing including breakfast, room was very clean,Internet was excellent, the Irish lady/staff were very helpful, room was clean, well worth the money would definitely be back, after checking out they allowed us to leave our car outside and then they gave us lots of help and brochures for touring London.a really great find.!!!
Good value B&B
We stayed for a night in the family room on a weekend to London, the hotel has 24hr reception, which was fantastic as we arrived at 2am, the rooms were value for money and the breakfast was very filling, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Value for money
Took this accommodation for 3 Adults as we were looking for last minute booking..
Couldn't have asked more as it was very clean and well maintained.. Good shower room, nice beds..Enjoyed our stay.. Breakfast could've been better.. But no complaints otherwise.. Will surely come back again.
Considering it was a late booking, we managed to get a very spacious room and the staff were all lovely.
The hotel is walking distance from the train station, which is really convenient. The breakfast being served is good, the only thing I will complain about is the lack of toothpaste. Although there were shampoo sachets and soap bars, there was no toothpaste provided which was quite disappointing. Overall, it is a nice place to stay for a weekend away with friends so I would recommend it. :)
very clean but the room did not have phone but service was good
