Few hotels can boast such an exquisite location. A stone's throw away
from the bustling heart of one of Europe's most vibrant capitals. Hyde
Park and Kensington Palace and Gardens are only a short walk away. All
the major transport links are on the doorstep giving ease of travel to
and from the major airports and access to the world famous shopping and
landmarks of the city.

The Serpentine Restaurant & Bar serves international cuisine, as well as
a selection of wine, cocktails, and malt whiskeys. A generous breakfast
buffet is available daily, including cooked and continental options.

For business and events, the hotel provides a meeting/conference room.

The 188 bedrooms are modern, spacious and well-equipped. They all come
with an en suite bathroom and air conditioning. Rooms also have tea and
coffee facilities, an LCD flat-screen TV and WI-FI access.

Good Location
Hotel was good, location excellent - very handy for tube and ideal being just off Hyde Park.
Hotel was decent enough - did the job and would stay here again.

Fussy Old Git
The days of staying in B&Bs are behind me. All that stopped this hotel getting a higher score were:
The hardness of the mattress and thinness of the pillows. Some of the bathroom fittings were a little tired too.
My stay coincided with the Chelsea Flower Show, which inflated most hotel prices to a stupid level. So well done the Lancaster Gate for providing a room at a reasonable price in the circumstances.

Ok
Room clean bathroom same as a cargo ship small could sit on the toilet and clea teeth at the same time
Breakfast guess great selection but we arrived at the wrong time backon etc tired
Seating same as rush hour on the tube sat on top of each other grim! Room half as big as it should be
But nice staff
Evening bar ok nice proffesional italian barman made me feel important first class

Great London base
Great location, clean and comfortable hotel. Quiet rooms at night. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay again on a trip to London.

Ideal location for walking during the tube strike.Hotel and facilities as per description .Staff very friendly and helpful. only slight negative was it was a basement room so the view from the window was stored building materials but otherwise very good.

1 night stay
The hotel is in a good location. check in & out was quick & easy. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. We had a bar meal, only fish & chips with 2 drinks came to £30 which is about right for hotel meals. If we visit London again,we would use this hotel again.

Lovely stay
had a lovely stay - the only fault being the room service - we could only actually have a limited choice from the extensive menu. Great location, not too noisy - would definitely stay here again.
