Small room

Not overly impressed with this hotel.

The receptionist was very nice, but the doorman was a man of few words and not very friendly. Our room was below ground - yes, below ground - with a light well and windows that people on the street could see into the room with. The bathroom door was frosted glass, so my husband and I could see each other sitting on the loo from the bed - romantic. Not. Would not stay here again and do not consider it value for money, even with the discount we got.

The staff make this Hotel what it is

Lovely stay.

Late Rooms never let us down. Great location - minutes from Marylebone High Street, Baker Street, Oxford Street, Soho, Hyde Park - the list goes on. We had a great nights sleep - amazingly although you're in central London our room situation meant it was beautifully quiet. Staff are excellent in every area and extremely courteous, helpful and 'on the ball' The only thing we would suggest they change is the breakfast arrangements. You will pay almost double if you don't pre book/order. We feel that any guest staying should pay the same price - as it was - our breakfast charge was adjusted without fuss. Novel extra - the Cigar Lounge - love it - if only for the pictures!

Lovely room and facilities.

On the small side but not a problem as I was alone.

Lovely location, great breakfast, compact & bijou room!

We stayed here for one night at the weekend for my husband's birthday.

I chose this hotel because he is a cigar lover & I thought the cigar terrace here was a bit of a treat for him. This did turn out to be the case, he loved it & enjoyed a cigar there before dinner (the outside terrace is only open until 9pm so not really available for after dinner smoking). Our room was lovely but quite small, I think to call one chair in the corner of the room a 'seating area' is stretching the truth a little bit but we didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't really matter to us. Staff were friendly & helpful and breakfast on Sunday morning was delicious. The location of the hotel in a quiet Marylebone side street was great & an easy walk to Baker Street tube. Overall, a lovely stay although perhaps a little on the pricey side for the size of the room but worth it to see my husband's face as he puffed on his cigar!
