Superb location and a reasonable price for London
I picked this hotel for its close to everything location and because it wasn't too expensive.
The room was great and modern with a lovely new bathroom and plenty of space for a twin room. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great and lots of choice from Full English to porridge. I did have a room on the third floor which is a bit of a climb after a day of sight seeing/shopping in London but it would not put me off booking again. It is around the corner from the London Eye and Southbank then a walk over Waterloo Bridge and into Covent Garden without needing the tube. Very pleased with my overall stay and i will be booking again.
A lovely, bright, clean room
I stayed in a single room that was bright, clean and stylishly furnished and sympathetic to the character of an old building.
Clearly a lot of thought had gone into the design. The large armchair in the room was really comfortable as was the bed ( probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a hotel in a long while). The ensuite had a very nice rainfall shower. There was London hustle and bustle outside and the train line was alongside the window but that added to the feel of being right in the center of London and next to the beautiful Waterloo station. The staff were efficient and friendly. Excellent value. I was sad to leave and will definitely stay again.
