Lovely quiet retreat, but within easy reach of tube, beautiful Hampstead.

An oasis in a busy city
We texted to arrange to arrive early and got a friendly welcome from Deepa, who made us coffee whilst we checked in.
Our room was spacious and very well equipped with everything anyone could need. Breakfast was self service in the guest kitchen, there were cereals and jams in the cupboard, yogurt, cheese, milk and butter in the fridge and either coffee for the filter machine or instant coffee and tea and a lovely selection of top quality breads, muffins, bagel and home made croissants on our final day. Deepa was very helpful and full of advice and suggestions for what to see in the area. Belsize Park had loads of lovely restaurants which were very reasonably priced. We wanted to explore North London on foot and The Gardens was ideal for this. We walked from Kings Cross Station (approx 40 mins) and walked down to Camden and up to Hampstead and Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill was a fantastic viewpoint and the walk through it to Regents Park and then through Regents Park and into Marylebone and the West End was wonderful.
