The hotel itself, is a small, privately owned hotel in Bloomsbury, the district of Central London famous as the home of 'The Bloomsbury Set', a group of authors that included Virginia Wolf and E. M. The Garth Hotel
This is not a complaint but may help the hotel to improve: The room was not particularly clean.
The door closed with difficulty and the (automatic) door-closer was broken. The shower head support was broken.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
My experience with The Garth Hotel London
My overall experience at this hotel left no pleasant memories.
The room was dingy, small and tardy. There was a shower in my room with a wash basin and to use the toilet I had to walk past reception in the outer room which was not pleasant at all. It leaves little to the imagination. I would suggest a Travel Lodge instead. It was a very traumatic experience for me.
