Great location, good hotel
This hotel is located a few minutes walk from Queensway tube station and looks over Kensington Gardens. Hyde park is less than 2 miles walk, or can be accessed via various tube stations. Booked an upgraded king size room with a balcony and room was great. Not huge but had everything needed and balcony was a good size. Loved the personal touch of a hot cookie when you arrived, and the personal card and chocolates in the room. Staff were all helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was of a good quality but a little chaotic in it's organisation during busy times.

Royal Albert Hall trip
Hotel is just a block away from Queensway Tube station (at the top of Hyde Park and Kensington Palace Gardens ) close to Portobello Road market and a 15 minute walk from Royal Albert Hall. We were able to check into our room early at midday which was very helpful. The room was clean but the ensuite bathroom was a little tired and in need of an upgrade. We were told that hotel was being renovated and could hear the muffled noise of workmen . The room was warm and looked out onto the main road which unfortunately was rather noisy throughout the night. However the breakfast in the morning was excellent and the overnight stay was great value and a good location for our plans.
