Good hotel marred by meanness
I travel a lot and this is the first time a hotel has made a £3 charge for credit card payment

great hotel
the macdonald hotel is a great place to stay. the staff were the most polite friendly and helpful people iv ever encountered in any hotel/bed breakfast. The room was spotless and had everything you would need. The food was great, we only had breakfast, but there was plenty to choose from.We would definately reccomend the Macdonald at frimley hall, and we are already planning to go back there in April.

Weekend Away
Came back from weekend relaxed. Bed was very uncomfortable/ too soft - it left us with a sore back. - not up to standard. Food was OK, Breakfast was good. Beverages a bit too expensive. Spa is small and there are not enough recliners.

Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel & Spa
The room was very warm and it appeared impossible to adjust the radiator or the air-con unit. As the room was quite small this made sleeping rather uncomfortable.
Food in the bar was considerably over-priced although the service was polite and attentive.

Elegant hotel
A very elegant hotel. Public areas very smart. Reception busy (arrived at 6.15pm on a Friday) as only one person checking guests in. Young man polite and apologetic for wait. Very obliging arranging taxis for evening out. Room 24 very pleasant, lovely linen and furnishings but noticed window catch loose. Bathroom a little tired but clean except a little bit of grubbiness where the shower screen meets the bath. (Noticeable when having a soak) .Reception again busy when checking out at 10.30am. Another wait, not asked if we enjoyed our stay and no chance to report window catch. Was not given exit code for gates but had to ask quickly as staff turning to deal with other guests. Appreciate busy time but disappointing departure.
