Good, apart from a dreadful quality mattress.
The hotel had an excellent outlook, right on the rowing lake and fishing lakes. It was also quiet and the breakfast was fine and actually was open until 10:30 which was a bonus. The room was clean but the quality of the mattress was extremely poor. It was a cheap design and very uncomfortable plus I felt every move that my partner made. As a result, I estimate that I only got about 3 hours sleep maximum, despite being in bed for 9 hours. This totally ruined the next day for me, which was my son's wedding day. It the hotel spent enough to install some decent quality mattresses, this would make all the difference.
Plus, the light in the bathroom didn't work properly.

Good value for money
We stayed at the Quality Hotel in Peterborough for one night (Saturday). The hotel was very busy with wedding guests and new arrivals. Reception staff was polite and efficient, booked in promptly and given directions to room.
The room was a reasonable size and very clean, bathroom spotless. We were prepared for noisy guests coming and going at all hours but this was not the case during our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the shower easy to operate. This hotel is excellent value for money when booked via late rooms and we would recommend it. Taxi back from town was only £5.00 and this was after midnight.
We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food.

Quality Hotel Peterborough
Very nice room, and the price was excellent. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Only slight let down was the shower, which was not very powerful.

Weekend stay
Booked online and got a great deal for the two nights we needed as we had two family engagements over two days. Was lovely and peaceful and had a lovely view of the rowing lake ( fantastic first thing in the morning with the Canadian geese at the waters edge. We returned late both nights and was brilliant to be able to get a night cap to unwind with before retiring to our room. If I had one complaint it would have been that it was extremely hot over the weekend and although the hotel bar, restaurant and corridors were at a great temperature our room was extremely hot and missed either air conditioning or a large fan. All in all a great hotel and will definitely stay again when next in Peterborough and have recommended it to my father for when he stops in Peterborough too.

Disappointing
Room was very basic. Travel Lodge Quality but higher price!
The member of staff who checked me in was very friendly, courteous and efficient. The hotel is well located but my room was very basic.

relax
Only negative comment is about having to wait 20 minutes at reception for someone to come for booking in. When waiting at bar to order a meal again had to wait 10 minutes.
