Poor.
Arrived at hotel, guy couldn't find my booking. Had to ask me how much I paid and what kind of room it was.
A superior double - a joke. Larger room, yes. But nothing superior about it. Room was in a state, floor wasn't clean; neither was the bath and the TV didn't work.
Spoke to the man in the morning when he came to turf us out at 11am despite my booking saying 12, he shrugged his shoulders and said I should have complained earlier. He then disappeared.
Won't be staying here again.

Great value for money.
Comfortable, friendly, is what it is good value for money. A quiet location close to all amenities and motorways. Will use again.

Old Vicarage
The room was clean; as were the sheets, towels and bathroom. The fan in the bathroom was rather noisy and needed the blades cleaning but otherwise was very good. The carpet in the room was a bit worn and could do with replacing but the room was of adequate size and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The Old Vicarage Hotel
This could be a GREAT hotel with a bit more TLC. Itrs a lovely old building with some interesting bits in the corridors. The building has been converted into lots of rooms. As a budget hotel its fine. The room I stayed in room 8 had obviously suffered damp at some point. The spare pillows need to go in the bin, they were flat, well used and stained. There was a nice big TV on the wall and tea and coffee facilities provided. They could make the outside are much more pleasant and a nice place for guests to sit. A number of local pubs within walking distance and one does live music on a saturday.

Fantastic find
What a fantastic find this little guest house/hotel was. Clean room, extremely friendly and helpful staff and in a very good location (10 mins from the train into leeds). Exceptional value for money as well - I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in leeds!
