bad service
Was fobbed off by both late rooms and travellodge. Neither party wanting to take responsibility for my complaint. In end literally they were arguing on my phone about it. Not gud to do in front of customer! Stay itself was ok but didn't make up for that!

All good apart from the rude woman
Stayed for 3 nights across halloween weekend. Great location, the people at reception during the day are lovely, the shower is brilliant and the bed is very comfy. Would have appreciated air conditioning/more bedsheet changes but it's not the end of the world. Usually experience with travelodge is always easy. Main concern was the lady at reception during the night dealt with us and the few of our breifly visiting friends in a very unpleasant and unwelcoming manner which ruined the atmosphere after each day out and literally made us want to check out early to avoid her, very much had a Disney villain vibe and not in a fun way.

Receptionist great
Hard to find due to sat nav not taking us to correct place. Receptionist says this happens a lot. She was very helpful. Thought it was unfair to have to pay extra to check in when room was ready. Room was ok. But so hot and noisy (needed window open as it was so hot) in the night could not sleep. Shower a bit pointless. Had to run around to get wet and the fan was filthy.
Only a quarter of loo roll in room, bit embarrassing having to go down and get one from reception.
Great for a night out as it's in the busy area. Not for business though. But, the cheap parking in city centre was a bonus
