Freindly accommodation

The sunnyside guest house is a friendly b&b.It is basic and great value for money, I would definitely stay there again.

Good value budget accommodation

Good location, good value - small room but clean & comfortable bed.

Flexible timing for breakfast (taken in nearby cafe owned & run by same couple) a bonus, food good.

How to maximise profits from a tiered and run down property with little as possible effort

Upon arrival in the late afternoon we were welcomed by the landlady.

Luckily, that meant I saw her changing the bed linen because otherwise I would not have believed it. The bathroom could barely hold one adult and was quite filthy with the shower curtain and toilt brush molding away. The whole carpet had not seen a vaccuum cleaner for some time and the cup stains on the night stands still fresh. I had booked a family room for the two of us believing that this would give us a bit more space but like the whole house it was tiny and crammed. Hard to believe the steep and small staircase meets any fire regulations. Breakfast was edible but a glimpse in the kitchen finished me off for the day. All in all, I was never so glad before leaving a holiday accommodation.

Cosy guesthouse

Homely and cosy.

Breakfast was great and room was clean. En suite quite cramped and stairways very narrow but lovely place to stay for a night. Only 5-10 min walk to north bay and 10-15 to south beach. Free permit for parking on road outside.

Little Gem!

Lovely B & B, owner very helpful, couldn't do enough for us.

Free parking too which was s bonus. Beautiful full English breakfast, with lovely thick quality bread for the toast. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was cosy, but very quiet and overlooking cricket field. Immaculately clean. Would recommend and book again.

Improvements needed

Apparently last weekend was the first of the year First impressions count-need new plants in boxes at the front Need to upgrade shower and loo-stuck in a little cupboard with no fan and no hand basin to wash hands afterwards All decoration very poor, does not look as though seen any decoration in last thirty years Suggest reducing number of rooms to allow for some ensure facilities, my single room seemed to have been squeezed out of a room at the top of the stairs, with the door at an angle in order to fit in.

Owners polite and well meaning.but the winter should have been spent upgrading and decorating

Carpet old and the whole building had a very stale smell, suggest perhaps burning some candles in the meantime

Good luck in the future

Pleasant stay at a good hotel

Very nice hotel to stay at.

Had a double room on first floor overlooking cricket ground. Staff are very helpful and informative about local restaurants and places to visit. Really nice breakfast
