100% would recommend it to a friend
Just what we needed.
Face cloths and sewing kit a nice touch. Great tidy room. Good base to explore Lanarkshire. Staff were very accommodating.
The Robertson arms hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff were so lovely and friendly.
Food is to die for. Peaceful and very relaxing x
Normal hotel in this area full
Found this little gem all as you would expect excellet.
Normal hotel is now this one
Very pleasant with excellent breakfast.
Good location. Very good value for money.
Clean well presented and appointed room with everything provided that we needed.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent good quality cooked breakfast. Only downside: our room at the front on the road side so couldn't leave the window open even though it was hot but heatwaves are rare so would not be a problem most of the time. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend.
Good friendly little hotel.
Like many small older inn-based hotels, layout is somewhat quirky and access to bedrooms is up a steep, narrow staircase. My room ( a single) was at the end of the corridor, and in many ways appeared to be an extension of the corridor - quite long, narrow and linear. Inside the door was a narrow passage leading down a few steps to a broader room with the single bed on the left (access all round) an area with desk/dressing table with the tea/coffee gubbins beyond and the through a door in a partition wall to the ensuite. Toilet and a good shower therein. All fine and clean. Dinner and breakfast were fine. The haggis fritters were difficult to eat - disintegrating on contact with cutlery so needed scooping up. Fine for a night to break a longer journey.
Room was quite good.
Bed was comfortable. A bit cramped. But good for an overnight stay.
two night stay
very clean and very welcoming, food in the evening was lovely and the breakfast was lovely as well.
would definitely recommend a stay here, if back in the area for work again will definitely be booking again.
