Excellent
Arrived and was immediately greeted / welcomed.
Room was much better than was expected and was great value.
Only niggle was trying to find the plug socket for the TV which ended up being located behind a unit.
Everything else brilliant and payment was dealt with quickly and efficently.
Slept so well ended up in rush so decided not to have the full breakfast offered with room but definitely would next time

OK for the money but just OK
As the title states this hotel os OK but i have stayed at much better hotels in this price range in this area such as Red Kite, the Wellington arms, the New inn at Heckfield, Wokefield park etc ect. I woudl stay here again though only due to convenience and it is OK.

Acceptable for price paid
My bedroom was small but cosy, warm, comfortable and welcoming. There was a lack of space in the bathroom to put any toiletries and a full length mirror would of been an advantage. Please note this hotel is now non smoking. Very reasonable prices for drinks compared with main stream hotels. Food was basic but adequate. Staff friendly. If you are looking for a modern main stream hotel this is not for you, if you want a quiet, comfortable, personable hotel to lay your head this is affordable and ticks those boxes.
