Clean and spacious room
Good location for the traveller, basic but convenient accommodation.
This hotel matched exactly what I needed.
It was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. And the shower was brilliant!
Days Inn is an up-market Travelodge. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Friendly reception.
Ignore the message from LateRooms saying that the last checkin is 10pm.
This isn't true and the Days Inn stays open a lot later than that.
An average room But above average service, hotel could do with an overhaul.
It was ok, a bed for the night.
The rooms I booked were a bit tired, a/c didn't work, remote didn't work the first night, carpet was a bit thread bear in front of shower room but the guy on the desk was very helpful, he got me a fan almost immediately and batteries were changed the next day
If my room (120) is typical, then the Hotel is in need of some refurbishment.
The first thing you notice is the old and worn carpet. The bed was awful. Obviously old and very uncomfortable. Even the pillows left much to be desired. The hotel is in a very convenient location, but I won't be staying again. Seems pointless to pay £65 for a room and get very little sleep. Competition in this type of accommodation is tough - from my experience the 'others' make a point of providing comfortable beds.
The king size bed was two single pushed together
We has an enjoyable stay.
The reception was welcoming and we had a good sized room with a decent sized large bed which made for a pleasant two night stay for two tall people.
Security issue when booking in, rooms getting a bit tired.
I had to wait a few seconds for the reception staff to appear, but that wasn't a problem.
However, I noticed that stapled to my reservation from Late Rooms (which I had to enter my car details and sign) was my credit card details together with the 3 digit security code. As these reservation forms were simply tucked into a box on the counter, anybody could have reached over and stolen them. With the security number, a thief would have a great time buying things at the card owner's expense. As I've already been the victim of card fraud in the past, I was not happy. The Receptionist said that they're not supposed to print them and only use the details on the screen for 10 seconds until they're gone. So what happened here. I was less than impressed. Regarding the room, they're starting to appear a little tired and tatty. A piece of insulation material to lag pipes was used as the headrest on the bars at the end of the sofa bed. Not a nice look. And the carpet by the toilet door was tatty. The fan in the toilet was very loud and I had to isolate it. I've stayed here before and I will stay here again, but some things will need to change at this hotel if it is to be my first choice in the area in future.
Helpful staff but rooms starting to need a makeover
Have stayed here several times.
The staff are always very helpful and polite.
Have noticed that the rooms are starting to look tired. There were 2 rips in the carpet by the bathroom door. Whilst first impression is that the room was very clean there was a layer of dust on top of the 2 highest picture frames and the sink overflow outlet at the top of the sink was brown and mouldy and had obviously not been cleaned for some time. Room was cold - could do with a wall heater. The mattress is firm and comfortable. Shower is great. And its these 2 last points - together with the price and the friendly staff which keep me coming back!
The room was a bit shabby faulty shower and a bit drab
I would ask for a better room next time.
