Reviews - NH Zurbano

Zurbano, 79-81 , Madrid, 28003
The hotel NH Zurbano is very well located, only 100 meters away from the famous Paseo de la Castellana.

It is close to the Nuevos Ministerios financial district and Azca business center, and at a 10 minutes walk from the Real Madrid football stadium - Santiago Bernabeu. It is also close to the most prestigious shopping area in Madrid (Serrano street) and to some of the best restaurants.

The metro station is just in front of the hotel and has a direct connection to the International Barajas Airport (to the check-in service), as well as to the IFEMA fair center.

Its 266 elegant and comfortable rooms are equipped with all amenities such as satellite TV, private bathroom, telephone, mini bar,…

The restaurant provides a warm, relaxing environment and is well decorated. The clients can try a great variety of national and international dishes for dinner or supper, and also enjoy the ANTIOX breakfast of NH Hotels.

NH Zurbano offers 7 meeting rooms capable of accommodating 2 to 150 people, designed for all types of events, conferences, business meetings, banquets and private celebrations.

Satisfactory
A good, clean hotel. Overall a positive experience, but bottom line - I think there are better deals to be found in Madrid.
I am not sure why is sometimes advertised as rented apartments, but it looked to me it was a full fledged hotel.
The restaurant though is in another building.
Everything in the room is fine, exactly as expected for 3*.
I've had a suprise though with the room service ordering a coffee at 7AM and being told it would take 25 minutes. 25 minutes?!? Press a button, get a coffee; get to the elevator, press a button; get in, press a button to get to the floor; get to my door, press another button, I appear, take coffee and give a tip. How hard can it be?

weekend in Madrid
Bathroom clean but smell of sewers! Work was going on at reception. Room quite small even just for one person. Comfortable enough but not 4 star.18 euros to pay for breakfast a bit steep! Staff very friendly, good english. Will stay again but only because of convenient location to family.
