Didn't Have Our Reservation
Arrived at he hotel at 10.30pm only to be told we didn't have a reservation. Once I had charged up my phone and showed the lady on reception the email confirming my booking this was quickly sorted out. But it was really annoying as it was very late and I had a child with me. The hotel blamed Late Rooms. Either way it was annoying although soon resolved.

Our room was a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was spacious and clean however the children's sofa bed was tiny and only suitable for 2 very young children (under 4 yrs) as it is the width of a standard single size bed with a vey thin mattress. The double bed is also quite small and and the soft pillow option that should be in the wardrobe was missing so we used the firm pillows found on the bed which we personally found uncomfortable but fine if you prefer a firmer pillow.
The room was spotless, there was a kettle with tea and coffee which with plenty of milks and sugars.
The hotel is of a good standard with nice bar/seating area and very conveniently situated to the town and Palace Theatre.
There is no parking at this hotel, opposite is a very scruffy car park with lots of broken glass around, this car park is quite small and there was no space when we arrived at around 11pm (Sat eve) to pay you call a number found on the wall and pay via credit card at a cost of £4.50 for 24 hours. The other car park is a 5 min walk away, this one costs £12.50 for 24 hours.
We didn't have the breakfast as it cost £10 each and as we were going out for Sunday dinner so we decided to go to Whetherspoons approx 3 mis walk away, I had a bagel and cream cheese with a smoothie and my husband a full fry up at a total cost of £8 (would recommend)
All in all our stay was fine but due to the parking and the size of the beds I think I will try somewhere else next time.

ideal for Harry Potter studios and London
The hotel was ideally situated near to Watford Junction where we caught the Harry Potter bus and for training into London. The room was immaculate and the Reception staff were extremely helpful. It was nearby to Watford Town Centre. Enjoyable stay in a good location. Would definitely return.

Convenient for Warner Brothers Studios
Chose this hotel as it was in a very good location for the Warner Brothers Studios where we were heading the following day. There is no official hotel car park but you can park just across the road for £4.50 for 24 hours which we thought was very good. We had a triple room (a double and single bed) and it was big enough for the three of us. We got two keys so my brother could come and go for a smoke outside as he pleased. The bathroom was a good size and had a shower over the bath. The most annoying thing we found was the television channels - no channels 1-5 and a very random and pretty rubbish selection of about 5 other channels. Also breakfast was not included and would have been £10 extra per person, needless to say we popped to the shops and got brekkie to go. If you are staying here ask for a room away from the lifts as ours was very near to them and it sounds like a foghorn in the distance every time a lift goes up or down.
