The Inn was clean, staff helpful. Food in restaurant was very good.
Only fly in the ointment was how warm the rooms were and couldnt seem to get them cool!
Lovely property and other than being too warm, enjoyed our stay.

Good standard of Food and Accomodation
Good location just off the M40 between High Wycombe and Oxford, The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms and food and of a good standard.
Book rooms upstairs if possible as the Gardens are quite busy when the Sun shines and are in close proximity to the bedrooms however they seem to clear by around 9pm

Perfectly adequate
A perfectly adequate room though the double bed was rather narrow.

Relaxing break
The pub food was excellent and the accommodation comfortable enough for the short stay. It was clean and the bathroom was up to date. The overall experience was a warm sociable evening in feel as those running the hotel/pub brought so much to the stay.

An excellent one night stay
This is a traditional country pub with friendly staff, locals and dogs. Our room was modern, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The evening meal was served promptly, on hot plates! The food was of excellent quality, but far too great in quantity. Would still be excellent value if quantity was halved and then we would have managed additional courses. It proved a good break on route to business meeting in Windsor. It's location is rural, but only a few minutes away from J5 of the M40.
