Basically Brilliant...
Being an artist, value for money always comes before comfort when I am booking my travel. The Buckingham Annexe is both excellent value for money and extremely comfortable, my single room was newly refurbished with a lovely shower, wide screen tv, internet access and a comfortable bed. Arriving late the guy at the desk had clearly been waiting for me, carried my (very heavy) bag to my room & arranged for it to be moved to my single room the next morning. Both he and the other receptionist were helpful and cheerful and I found it a very pleasant experience.

Cheap and cheerful
Cheap room for the night with good breakfast
The room wasn't great very basic had a slight smell of smoking, the window didn't keep the traffic noise down so took a while to get to sleep and woken early
Needed to keep curtains drawn as no net curtain
Other than this the hotel served its purpose - a cheap bed for the night, shower and decent breakfast in the morning

Simply wonderful
Booked for the Annex during a special offer but was given a very nice and comfy ensuite single room in the Hotel instead. WiFi was inclusive (although I think they usually charge £10 for it and the speed isn't the best), breakfast was charged at £7.95 per person. Nice, helpful and courteous staff. Location is about 20 mins walk away from town centre.
Truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.
