100% would recommend it to a friend
Great location, great quality, excellent value.
I booked three rooms for a long weekend in May - taking advantage of the UK bank holiday and the usually great weather in Madrid in May.
We arrived by taxi and after checking in had rooms on the 5th and 7th floor. the two 5th floor rooms with twin rooms, facing out on to the Gran Via. The 7th floor room was an interior room so faced the inner court yard.
Although there was a lot of noice on the Saturday night following the Madrid derby Champions League final, and 100s of people piling past out hotel on the Gran Via, with the windows shut, you could hear very little. Certainly nothing could be heard from the 7th floor room.
The rooms were cleaned daily to an excellent standard. The maids were accommodating and came at convenient times to us. Unfortunately we didn't get quite in rhythm with the best times to visit the pool (from 11 onwards till early afternoon) but I did venture out one morning and it was very lovely.
Would have liked to have seen the suite options, there is apparently a room with it's own private room that I would consider in the future.
We didn't eat in the hotel but had some drinks in the evening and tapas that came with the drinks was always nice.
All in all, a great trip and I really do recommend this hotel.
