Hotel needs updating

Hotel is badly in need of refurbishment.

When we arrived rooms hadnt been cleaned, were freezing cold and our window looked straight in to a building. One of the rooms, the bed only had 3 legs and hadnt even been made up. Carpets were ripped and really dirty. Rooms really old fashioned. The staff, including reception and restaurant were brilliant and tried their best to help, also the food and entertainment was good but the hotel itself was really poor. We were due to stay 2 nights but left after 1, really disappointed.

Lovely hotel

We were in Ayr for a wedding and decided to book in at Fairfield as the pictures made it look so nice (the pictures dont do it any justice).

We wished we had booked for a second night to take it what was around the hotel and also use the leisure facilities. We will definitely be back after the new year.
