3 star Rome accommodation
Little different to any 3 star in a Capital City, the room was small but sufficient, let down by having a cracked glass hand basin and an overflowing WC cistern.
The Sky TV was unable to receive British TV programs, and there were no tea/coffee making facilities, and only plastic cups available in the room. Our room was next to reception and not well soundproofed. The breakfast was basic Continental, croissants and cakes, very watery juice, but on the plus side the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the coffee was good!
Lovely hotel with lots of character
This was the perfect hotel for our visit to Rome - a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and Roman Forum and loads of shops and bars just around the corner.
The hotel itself was really cosy. The building itself had lots of character and our room had a lovely little balcony that you could stand out on to take in your surroundings. The street below could get busy at times but we quite liked that, and enjoyed listening to the hustle and bustle outside.
The staff we came across were really helpful and the cleaners were very thorough, the room being spotless every day when we got back.
The hotel also offer a private airport transfer service that we used when arriving and leaving. Both drivers got us where we needed to be quickly and for a very reasonable cost. We arranged this directly with the hotel via email. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and would return if I ever visit Rome again.
