Front of house customer service great breakfast area staff waste of time
Positive: This is a great hotel front of staff were great, really helpful made checking in was made easy by them, location is good as a tube station is just behind the hotel which takes you into central London.
Negatives: Breakfast was a waste of time. I felt I was in a school canteen. The kitchen staff came round with a bucket and threw the leftover food into a bucket while we were eating. They were supposed to offer fresh cooked eggs, which were over cook as they had been cook, as they were left on a hot plate. The beans looked like hard mush and the scrambled eggs were dry, as they had also been left on the hot plate. There were no hash browns, which was show as an option on the menu. So when I enquired if they could make any the kitchen staff told me in a very rude tone they have sautéed potatoes which are the same and I will have them. Not the best experience as I have stayed here before. Better to stay at the hotel which is round the corner with excellent breakfast for the same price. Would not stay here.
Very impressed, just what we wanted, decent rooms, decent restaurant and great for the O2.
All the staff we came into contact with were helpful and pleasant.
