OK for a quick stay, clean with big room and shower but attention to detail lacking, beds not great, toilet seat broken and not fixed and the three breakfasts we had they had no beans so you would think they would go to shop to provide them as these things make a difference, lack of care.
Good value for money
Food excellent Room OK-- nothing special, but clean.
Our room only had a bath in the bathroom --no shower, although a shower attachment was provided to taps, but low down and NO SHOWER CURTAIN or preferably shower screen. You had to sit in the bath to have a shower to avoid flooding the bathroom floor. ( I understand tat the other 2 rooms do, in fact have separate shower cubicles--although not able to check). One problem was lack of cleaning to pub and gardens. Outside the rear door to pub were numerous cigarette ends ( mostly dropped by owner) , which looked unsightly-- easy to provide a bin. Also glasses from residents drinking outside in the evening were still on tables at 11.00 am the next morning-- likewise my wife left a fork on the inside table after our evening meal, which was still there the following evening when we sat down to another meal. Makes you wonder how often the pub and outside tables are cleared/cleaned.
