Good stay for work
The only major quibble with this place is the parking situation - you have to pay for overnight parking a block or so away from the pub.
I'm very grateful to the nice lady who gave me a pound when I didn't have enough coins for the machine.
The pub is cute and old with narrow windy staircases, sloping floors and the remains of old fireplaces. It's on the main street of Windsor with a view of a bit of the castle from the bar downstairs. Staying on a weeknight, it was very quite with only a few folk in for a drink or dinner. Food was great (a selection of sliders with crisp chips and coleslaw) and the service was good.
I did bruise my shin on the corner of the bed, but otherwise the room was fine. I would suggest earplugs if there are likely to be people hanging about the high street as their retrofitted double glazing doesn't do much to cut down any noise. Thankfully all was quiet on a weeknight.
Perfect Location, Perfect Accommodation
You really couldn't find anywhere better for prime location to Windsor Town and value for money plus the hotel has a very warm and inviting atmosphere so that you immediately feel at home.
An added bonus was the late breakfast and check out time. We will certainly be returning. Thank You, Prince George Inn and Thank You LateRooms
