Welcoming service, convenient for Crematorium
They don't have a sign outside, so be sure to have the house number handy when trying to find it.
Parking area is a bit tight to get into. Pauline welcomed me by name, and was keen to ensure I had everything I needed, both when I arrived and at breakfast the following morning. Room was clean and modern: ensuite small, but fully equipped. Coffee and tea in room, as well as leaflets for local attractions. Free Wi-Fi provided and worked well. If you are coming from north of the Thames to a morning cremation at the Medway Crematorium just down the road (as I was), staying at this B&B for the preceding night is a good alternative to getting up early and fighting your way across the Thames during rush hour. Hopefully I won't be going to another cremation again soon, but I would stay at this B&B again if I were.
AAA*** property and host.
Pauline was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble for her.
She is very knowledgeable about the area and helped us when deciding where to visit. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable.
