Anniversary Trip

We found our stay at the Willows an excellent way to celebrate our wedding aniversary.Even though we were there during a heat wave the room we had was cool and comfortable.

The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. An added bonus was that it was only a short walk to a lovely spot by the river where we could just sit in the shade and watch the boats go by. We would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

A lovely quiet village

We arrived late due to traffic chaos...

Message on board which stated which room we were in, not a problem for us as everyone has a life. Room 5 was lovely, cosy and very clean, great bathroom. Bed was very comfy. We had booked accommodation location as visiting family for the weekend. Not sure we should say how very quiet and beautiful the village and surrounding areas. "The Cock" older world's pub next door, we will definitely eat there next time... Breakfast was 8-9 on weekends, though we are not early risers... but then as I said before the owners do have a life too... We were given an option for Sunday breakfast time which was very kind, though we almost didn't make it as room so tranquil !. Breakfast was a good, selection of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, fresh coffee, toast and cooked breakfast, which was served hot and fresh. Owners were lovely .. We will definitely stay here again but for longer next time so we can enjoy the meadow walks and a trip to Cambridge. Probably shouldn't say anything more as you will all want to visit !!.
