A very nice B & B
We stayed here whilst visiting the 'Rewind 80's' festival.
The car parking was tight but once you were there in the lane it was no problem. The B & B was very homely with Victoria attending to your every need, she was a great hostess, with nothing being a problem. The breakfast was very good, cooked to order and fresh fruit salad and cereal if required. The views from the garden were stunning as you are right on the river at the bottom of the garden, with passing boats occasionally. The rooms were well maintained and a little quirky down the different corridors. There was a pub nearby and an excellent Indian restaurant round the corner. Taxi to Henley is about £15-20 depend upon the time of day. Would definitely stay here again, thank you Victoria for a great stay.
Lovely riverside location near Henley
The location was great - with a garden backing on to the river - and the room we stayed in overlooked this view.
A good sized room, my only complaint would be that there was only one chair in the room (plus a stool). The cooked breakfast was excellent. There were a selection of pubs nearby and, in the evening, we ate in the nearest one (The Bull), which was a good traditional village pub. Wargrave is a pleasant riverside village. However, once we found Ferry Lane, it was impossible to tell which was Inverlodden Cottage, since there is no house name anywhere to be seen (except from the river for passing trade, no doubt). We walked up and down the road a few times but asked a neighbour in the end. Parking could also be a problem, but the hostess moved her car and left a space for us. As it is at the end of a narrow cul-de-sac, with a few parked vehicles too, just a warning that turning the car round is not easy!
