About the hotel
A warm welcome awaits you at our 1960’s home in the quiet village of Ravensden. “Garth” is a Saxon word for “enclosure” hence the house stands amongst trees, with farmland to the rear and overlooking woodland to the front. The property has 3 rooms in total, a double room, a twin room and a single room and all share a modern guest bathroom with good size bath and shower.
All rooms have a washbasin, fluffy towels, a hairdryer, bathrobes. and full beverage making facilities (tea, coffee, chocolate & bottled water). We have private (off road) car parking available for our customers. There is a good choice of several excellent pubs nearby for evening meals, the closest within a 10 minute walk, others within a mile and a half. . Here in the county town of Bedford, one of England's smallest counties, flanked east and west by tourist hotspots like Oxford and Cambridge and just a 35 minute train ride from Central London, we believe you will have a unique visitor experience, a quiet location yet close to a town full of flavours from cultures around the world.

Stay at Tree Garth
July 2015 I had one night at Tree Garth.
I paid 45 pounds for one night in a single room. Its basically a room in an ordinary house. There's nothing special about the house. Its not made from stone or has centuries of history The place is a bit tired but its clean and tidy. The bed is fine and clean but small room. Any smaller and the furniture would have to go. A little bit hard to find as all the houses are given names and not numbers. If you are driving along in the car and looking out for the name then you literally have 10 meters of road to spot it but basically its opposite the church. There's a pub in the village and within easy walking distance for a meal. The breakfast was great and I particularly liked the home made jam for the toast. The night previous for me was at Woodland Manor MK41 6EP nearby at 130 pounds for one night. Tree Garth for me was better and the price makes it a no brainer.
Also very helpful pub down the road about half a mile with very good food and Beer. Breakfast in hotel was marvellous, cooked lovely. would definitely stay again. one to use in the area highway.
