About the hotel
With a roaring fire for cold winter nights and a picturesque secluded garden for long summer days, the Greyhound is a traditional English pub steeped in local history. Whether you're looking for a quick pint of local Sussex ale or a three course feast, accompanied by wine from our carefully chosen wine list, a warm and friendly welcome awaits you. And if you're looking for somewhere to have breakfast then come and join us on weekends from 9am to 11am.
At the Greyhound we use locally sourced produce to prepare our delicious food and you will find lots of choice, from classic British pub food, (try our home-made pies or Harveys battered cod), to a lighter bite. You are sure to be tempted by something on offer, maybe leaving room for our delicious homemade desserts. As well as serving great food and drink, you can stay in our cosy Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the converted stables, or celebrate a special occasion in our private function room. At the Greyhound there is always something going on, be it live music, quiz nights, the Bewl Barrel Race, or our monthly curry club. To find out more about what's happening check our news and events page. Whether you come to eat, drink or stay, we look forward to welcoming you to our pub. Shula & Dan

Review of B&B at the Greyhound, Wadhurst
The room provided was next to the pub forecourt and inevitably there was a lot of chatter which we could hear from customers during the evening.
The breakfast was basic and the service was fairly slow. Hot water was slow to come through.
Value for money
This is a budget room at a budget price but none the worse for that.
It was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was more quantity than quality (tough bacon, grisly sausage, cheap ketchup, but acceptable for the price and previously mentioned generous in quantity. I would stay again.
