a Hastings room with a view
Peter our host was very welcoming and informative.
Very impressed that we were given a choice of rooms. Our room was spacious, catered for all our needs and could not have had a better sea view. Beds comfortable and the Hotel was nice and quiet. Breakfast was very satisfying and served by Peter personally. We felt he was interested in us as people and not just customers.
Adequate for what I wanted and because not many people staying at the time the owner was kind enough to upgrade from a single to a twin with a spectacular sea view at no extra cost.
However, a room on the ground floor which I thought would be a lovely lounge area to chill out in and curl up with a book, with the sea view as a backdrop, turned out to be a huge office and staffroom. What a waste of space - this could have been a real asset to the hotel. No good for anybody who would like to remain anonymous - the owner is TOO helpful and interested.
