Great Value Room

Warm welcome.

All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Spacious/clean room, massive wardrobe, freshly decorated with sink. Comfy bed. Coffee/tea and kettle in room. Bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle on landing opposite our room. No problems with access on the evening we arrived but the following morning. Car parking on the pub's driveway which holds 6 cars. We were offered the last space but plenty of on street parking nearby.

We stayed on a Monday night and the pub's restaurant was closed but there are some restaurants on the main road including a great fish and chip shop next door where you can eat in or takeaway. Margate is about 3 or 4 miles away. Very good value stay - we paid £30 for our last minute room. The only negative was that our room overlooked the main road and there was quite a bit of early morning traffic which woke us. Other than that, it was a great stay.
