The Seaview Hotel, Birchington-on-Sea
Day 1 of a 7 day cycling holiday.
Kim (landlady) welcomed me, (as the pub wasn't open on a Monday, informed me of places where to eat, drink and places to avoid. Room was a double, with a shared toilet and shared bathroom. The room, bathroom and toilet was spotless. My cycle was stored safely (in the hallway downstairs). But the real gem is, that Birchington-on-Sea railway station is a five minute walk away, I believe Margate is roughly ten minutes away and is £4 return.
Excellent place to stay, friendly pub friendly locals.
Great atmosphere and made to feel welcome. A definite recommend to anyone visiting the area as close to station and local high Street with various beaches just moments away. A great family run business.
