Back to the 1950's
This is a gastro pub and not a hotel.
The food is excellent. The bedroom and bathroom plumbing is a throw back to the 50's. Room right on the front pavement with single glazed window. No privacy, passers by could look straight in unless curtains were closed. Walls paper thin, could hear banging, crashing and traffic all night. Impossible to have a decent shower as cold water a mere trickle. On the plus side, the bedding and towels were fresh and clean.
Nice place but noisy
The rooms are Clean but dated, especially the Bathroom.Staff are very helpful and the Food is excellent. The one big draw back is the noise from the constant traffic even on the Sunday we were woke by the noise, think double glazing could be fitted without too much work.Would stay again if got a room at the back.
