Perfect Farmhouse B&B

We used College Farm as a base for visiting Cambridge(via the Trumpington Park and Ride).

College Farm was easy to find, and we were given a very warm welcome.

The bedroom was great, spacious with a clean en-suite and comfortable bed. We were given great advice on eating out (Royal Oak pub in Barrington - recommended). Had the B&B's Full English for breakfast, perfectly cooked, supplied with endless coffee and toast. Would definitely visit again and recommend unreservedly.

Dog friendly B&B with chickens.

I had to travel with my big hairy dog, who is pretty calm most of the time.

We were made very welcome at College Farm and there is a farm track and fields for walks just outside the farmyard, which was very convenient, especially for that last night time amble. The room was spacious, everything worked and it was very warm. Too warm for me. But windows opened and covers could be thrown off, so not a problem.

It should be understood that this is a farmhouse style B&B, not a chic boho hotel sort of place. Mr and Mrs were extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, with as much tea and toast as you could get down you. The room was comfortable, not "posh" and that's fine with me.
