Quality Traditional Countryside B&B
Very approachable host, individually furnished rooms have their own characters, excellent breakfast.
Good value. Enough said.
Cleanliness of room
During our stay we felt the sleeping accommodation was very good however there were several areas where cobwebs were visible.
Some might say it adds to the charm of the building but general housekeeping in my opinion needs to be reviewed. We didn't feel overly welcomed and as though our visit was valued. The owner went through the welcome motions on our arrival and even took payment before being taken to our room. when leaving there was no sign of anyone and no goodbye, almost feeling we were an inconvenience to their day. Hardly customer focused and the owners manner could be taken as being rather abrupt. Breakfast was excellent and the choices were very good for a small B&B. Unfortunately we felt rushed, for the sake of ten minutes the owner announced that she was clearing the breakfast buffet before we had even finished. Were we just an inconvenience to her?
