Fantastic 16th Century House
We this a wonderful place to stay.
You get a real feel of the country as you drive down the minor (some single track depending your route) roads, to the beautiful location, this enhances the whole experience.
Sally was an excellent host, we found her warm, friendly, very helpful and only wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as it could be. The house is fantastic and well appointed, we had a great nights slept in a very comfortable four poster bed. Excellent, thank you very much.
Friendly and efficient hospitality in very comfortable surroundings with a delicious breakfast!
BN27 1QJ When visiting east Sussex for the night Like some migrating bird that’s on the wing, And Herstmonceux appears within your sight Why not attempt to perch at Cleavers Lyng .
This ancient English Grade II listed pile
Has seen a wealth of history unfold -
An inn in the Elizabethan style
With stories by the hundred to be told. The décor’s fine with bedrooms all en suite;
The breakfast’s an unqualified delight;
The nearby castle is a certain treat;
The Levels an elucidating sight -
And while Bexhill and Eastbourne might impress
Old Hastings snatches victory from success.
