I expected basic for the price I paid, which is what I got, but it served my purpose of staying.
I read some true horror stories in earlier reviews, that is certainly not what I encountered.
Staff was friendly, I got upgraded for free from a 10 bed mixed dorm to a 8 bed female dorm. Wifi worked, ensuite shower and toilet were small, but clean and worked well. Breakfast super basic.
It was a bed.
It was a bed close to the location I needed at the lowest cost.
No frills. Nothing special. Did the job. I locked my bag to my bed. Appreciated the variety of languages and faces in the social room. Most people polite but allowed my space. Places to charge phones and laptops. Could see the cleaning staff working at various hours of the day/night. Appreciated the effort. Just a reminder: Not everyone goes to bed or wakes up at reasonable times. The 4:30 "young men" leaving for a train in the morning did not creep out quietly. But that comes with a cheap bed for the night.
