Great Welcome - but went slightly downhill...
We arrived a bit later than we'd said.
Reception had tried to call, but there was no hands-free in the car so I couldn't answer. The lady seemed genuinely relieved on our arrival. A big room with a great view (unfortunately not staying long enough to get full advantage of that) with a nice clean comfy bed. However, a slight unidentifiable odour in the room/ensuite. Next morning wasn't perfect either. I'd requested poached egg for breakfast and this arrived, beautifully cooked, but on a cold plate - which was when I realised I had to go and make my own toast to go with it. Not quite so welcoming... I hate to think what visitors to our country would make of it!
