Very comfortable and pleasant stay
My family and I were very pleased with our family room accommodation.
When we arrived we were greeted my one of the owners whom we had pleasant chat to about our journey there and whether we needed any information on local eating places. As we had eaten already we didn't take up the kind offer. We were shown to our room which was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for 5 of us without feeling like we were on top of each other. The wifi also worked well here too which was a bonus for the children to be able to use there tablets for a bit if they didn't want to watch the TV with us. We all managed to get a good nights sleep too which can be a challenge with small children in a strange place. The room had lovely big shower and corner bath in the bathroom. Plenty of towels and mini toiletries if we had need of them too. The only issue is that the bathroom door is slighty see through which could be an issue for teenagers/parents if they like plenty of privacy in the bathroom but as we have young children we are quite used to not having that luxury. There was plenty of breakfast to choose from to, full english to fruit and yogurt. Even frubes for the children. Nothing was to much trouble to be cooked either for my fussy little ones. There is also plenty of information of what to do in the area if you are staying longer and the owners are very knowledgeable about whats available too. All in all we had a brief but great stay and would happily go back again.
The Tree House is certainly a different experience, a bit bemused on first entering across the suspension bridge, but quite cosy once settled in.
Lovely views across the fields. An amazing Continental Breakfast was delivered to our door at the time requested and more than set us up for the day. The balcony shower has to be tried at least once for the experience. :-)
