Arrived 17.00pm, There seemed to be one member of staff running the bar and room bookings so had to wait to check in till customers at bar had been served.

Was given no information eg regarding check out time, where to park, fire exits. The room was very basic, plain and stains on the cream carpet, televison did not work, dust on and behind the bedside draws, very thin walls could hear the guests next door, bed was rather uncomfortable felt and sounded like springs had broken, also did not like to see used bed sheets on the floor on my way out the following day, they should have been placed in a laundry bin. Asking price for the room is very overrated, ideally i would have paid no more than £50 and would not give more than 2 stars.

However, initial appearance of The Rowbarge is lovely, based in a beautiful area. So I was disappointed that the room I stayed in did not live up to expectations. Hints to owner: Rooms are in need of revamping, dark colour carpet would be more ideal, add some colour to the rooms, accessorise.

Great value for money.

Used to book into the Premier Inn (Bridge Barn) but it was getting more and more expensive, so I thought that I'd give the Rowbarge a try.

well It was a great experience, the room was fine and the food n the restaurant was good (and vast!!). setting was nice an peaceful. On my next travel south, I will definitely stay here.
