Small tv. Wardrobe falling apart. No room In bathroom when the on toilet
Shame hotel looked really nice outside.
Nice reception and seating area, but bedroom was poor for a superior. Wardrobe falling apart, small tv, dusty. No room in bathroom, View from window of a roof. Will not be staying again well not in that room. Food was disappointing.
We booked through LateRooms and were assured of a "superior" double room.
This room and particularly the En-suite were extremely poor and certainly could never be rated as superior. The bed was clean but having 2 feet high weeds growing outside the window along with a dangling cable made immediate poor first impressions. As for the En-suite, it was probably the worst we have come across in our regular trips. The basin was poorly grouted and moved away from the wall. Likewise the bath was badly grouted and dirty looking and the side panel was lying loose. The shower was unable to be controlled either extremely hot or just cold. Over the 2 days we were unable to use the shower. I do remember a previous review mentioning a similar problem at this hotel so obviously not being taken on board. Another unusual inconvenience was not having a side table at one side of the bed. All in all we have been positive about the food and certainly the staff, but the accommodation spoiled our stay. We will not be back nor recommend. We did mention the shower to reception and were offered a discount.
