Royal Hotel Liverpool

We stayed two nights at the Royal.

We were in the area for a family party and a number of the guests stayed too. The room at the front of the hotel looked over the water and was very clean and well cared for. The bathroom had a leaky bath but staff dealt with the need for extra towels very quickly and efficiently. Breakfast was excellent and staff very pleasant although their use of the word "love" all of the time was really rather annoying. Reception and Bar staff also very good. Only issue was that on Sunday night all food service stopped at 8pm. We only wanted cheese and biscuits at 8.30 but nothing was available. Kitchen was probably locked so no complaint. Just would have been nice if something could have been offered.
