Good Affrodable accomodation
Staff where very friendly and helpful.Great locaion in centre of the town. Parking permit given for carpark at the rear. Large garden seating at rear which was a god send on such a hot evening but closes at 10pm so had to go inside. We stayed on a busy Saturday evening and had no problem with noise in the room. Room had large windows with secondry windows which could not be opened. They had 2 large upright fans in the room which worked a treat on a hot evening. We had the large famiy room for 4 whch was very spacious.Good chice of breakast which is off the pub menue with good prices. Would reccommed no problem
Great stay at the Hop pole
This is the 3rd stay in the last three years at the Hop Pole and again we weren't disappointed.
the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was of course excellent. We were travelling with my wife's parents and we both were given a front room 105 & 205 which we found to be very noisy at times from the traffic and also stopped us leaving the window open at night, this in turn made the room very hot at night. Next year when we visit the Hop Pole I will specify at room at the back of the hotel.
