I arrived at about midnight the young chap on reception had no idea I was coming even though I had rang earlier in the evening as I knew I was likely to be late getting there.
I was hurriedly asked to make payment and given the room key, shown the room and no other information as he quickly disappeared and the reception was locked. There was a key code on the front door, which I had idea of the number, which made going outside to retrieve stuff from the car interesting in case others shut the door which I'd been forced to leave open.In the morning a chap turned up at about 8am, of whom I enquired about the possibility of getting breakfast and the wi fi password. Breakfast was a hurried affair and the food was unwholesome. The hotel is a lovely building and has beautiful grounds it is a shame that it is not run better.
